New York Chapter Official Calendar Submission Form

Use this form to submit concerts, competition/program deadlines, or other events to appear on the calendar.
~ New postings will often go up in an hour or so, but usually within 24 hours; rarely more than a day or so. ~

    Your email address (in case I need to contact you regarding this submission.  Contact information for the event should be included in the Full Text field below.)

    Date(s) (of the performance, event, submission deadline, etc.  If there is a complicated schedule, just leave this blank and write up in the Additional Notes field below.)

    Start Time (if relevant.  If there are multiple times, just leave this blank and write up the schedule in the Additional Notes field below.)

    End Time (if specific - otherwise leave blank)

 Check if this event (or competition/program submission) happens to be Free.

    Featured Name (of the composer, performer, group, company, etc.  If you're an ACF member, this should probably be your name; if there are just too many people involved to single out one name, then just leave this blank and the Program Name below will be used.)

Please put (ACF) after anyone's name who is a member of the American Composers Forum.  This name will appear in bold on the calendar.

    Composition or Program Name (e.g., "Symphony No.2" or Sonic Circuits XI.  Keep it short.  If there's no real name for the program or are several compositions being featured, just type something like "in concert" or "a concert of music by" or "new works by" or "selected works by" or "symphonic works of", etc.  It will be used in conjunction with the Featured Name above.)
 
Check if this is an ACF-related event.  The event will appear in bold on the calendar

    Name of Location (if relevant.  DO NOT include the address here, just the name in it's shortest familiar form [e.g., Merkin Hall or La MaMa, rather than Merkin Concert Hall or La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club.]  The full address along with directions should be included in the Full Text section below.  If the location is outside of NYC, just name the town state.)

    Deadline Type (If this happens to be a program, composition competition, or some other thing involving a deadline, please indicate whether it is a receive-by deadline or a post-mark deadline.)

    Full Text (on the calendar, this is the text that will pop up when you click on the entry - ideally, you should filter out the date and time, since it will already be prominently displayed.  Alternately, if all the information you have is already online somewhere, just type the URL and instead of a pop-up text box being displayed, it will just be a link to your page.)

    Additional Notes (to me, John.  It will not be displayed on the calendar.  If you'd like me to e-mail you and let you know when it's been posted on the calendar, just say so here.)
